Websites:
A website is a collection
of web pages hosted on the web server. Some websites offer free information to all
of its visitors while some allow only its members to access some important areas
of it.
Websites can be static or dynamic. All the web pages of a static website
are stored on its server and every user views the same content whenever he visits
the site.
Content based sites like online tutorials are the examples of the static
website. In a dynamic website, the web page code is constructed dynamically and
each user may see different content on the web page depending on inputs or pre-defined
rules.

Examples of the dynamic websites are social networking, banking site, auction
sites etc.
Articles and Journals
Some of the companies
and individuals are offering online articles/journals for free in order to spread
knowledge. Some are charging fees to get access to their articles. Students can
read these articles, understand and apply those concepts in their research or homework
but are not supposed to copy them.
Online tutorials
We can get some free
online tutorials and e-books on various subjects we are interested. This is really
a great feature as some people may not be able to afford buying every textbook they
need. Some people charge little fees for using e-books they are offering which is
usually cheaper than actually buying textbooks.
