Finding hard drive size of an iPod
The hard drive size is written at the bottom of the metal cases in some models of iPod otherwise you can go to Main Menu->Settings->About, there you can see the size.

The latest iTunes software can be downloaded at http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/.
You can use the iTunes menus for checking the latest updates. In Windows computer, go to Help->Check for Updates and in Mac computer, go to File->Check for updates.
