Windows 98 SE

Windows 98 Second Edition was released on May 1999. It is an updated version of Windows 98. Some of the improved features of Windows 98 are:

a. Internet Explorer 5.0 which is faster than Internet Explorer 4.0 was introduced.

b. USB support was enhanced.

c. Internet Connection Sharing was added. This provides the way in which different computers in a LAN can share one Internet Connection via Network Address Translation.

d. Microsoft NetMeeting 3.0 was included.

e. An option for installing Microsoft Plus was included.

f. Memory overflow issue was fixed.

g. Provided integrated support for DVD-ROM drives.
