The compact disk (CD) audio system
was released in 1983. The compact disk (CD) can store the audio information of one
hour in the digital form on one side and it is a non-erasable disk.
CD-ROM
is non erasable disk which has the capacity of storing 650 MB of memory so it can
be used for sharing huge data.
CD-R is a CD recordable in which the user can write to the disk only once.It can
be treated as write one-ready many.
